In 1991, God placed a call on Dee's life that would change her forever. The call was to minister to people who were wounded in heart and spirit. Little did she know that she would soon be facing her own brokenness and personal demons.

Thus began the journey of Healing Hearts Ministry. That was 20 years ago and in many ways, Dee still feels like she is just beginning. God birthed in her heart and spirit a new way to minister to others using her own experiences, the experiences of others, and the wisdom of God.

Throughout this journey, she grew and matured in the things of the

Lord, learning how to minister to the broken-hearted. Dee is an

accomplished speaker, leadership trainer, and author. Her book,

The Trail of Broken Pieces, is available in both English and Spanish

and is used most effectively in group settings accompanied with

a facilitator guide for leaders. She also holds a variety of workshops

throughout the year addressing a variety of topics.

Dee and her husband Dick were married for 40 years. They have two

sons, Dave and Duane. Dick passed away in 2005. Dee resides in

Omaha, Nebraska.
